SULTANPUR LODHI: On the occasion of the 551st birth anniversary of the first Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the Punjab Government has started the work of issuing unique identity numbers to every house and property in the city of Sultanpur Lodhi.  This is the first step towards making the city a smart city.  Mr Navtej Singh Cheema MLA of Sultanpur Lodhi Constituency and Mrs Deepti Uppal Deputy Commissioner launched the distribution work cards today.

SULTANPUR LODHI:Amid the celebrations of 551st Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Member Parliament Jasbir Singh Gill along with MLA Sultanpur Lodhi today inaugurated specially created two selfie points depicting 551st parkash purab logo which were installed at the prominent locations of Sultanpur Lodhi. These locations includes Garari Chowk (Rotary Chowk) and many more locations.

CHANDIAGRH:The Punjab Government has started free bus service for Sangat coming to visit Sultanpur Lodhi during the 550th Prakash Purb celebrations of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. A meeting regarding this was held today by the Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi with the officers of Tourism and Transport Departments.

CHANDIGARH: Accepting Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh’s request for special trains for Sultanpur Lodhi to meet the rush of pilgrims expected there during the 550th Prakash Purb celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the Ministry of Railways has decided to run 14 special intra-state and long distance inter-state trains connecting the historic town from November 1, 2019.

CHANDIGARH: The central government has released the first advance installment, amounting to Rs 27.11 crore, from its share of the funds earmarked for the Sultanpur Lodhi Smart City project, slated for launch on the historic occasion of the 550th birth anniversary celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji.

CHANDIGARH: The central government has acceded to Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh’s request for a special express train connecting New Delhi with Sultanpur Lodhi to cater to the large number of pilgrims expected to converge at the historic town during the 550th Prakash Purb celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

CHANDIGARH: As a part 550th Prakash Purb Celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji, the Punjab Government has now undertaken a massive drive for plantation of flower trees and flowers in the vicinity of the holy city of Sultanpur Lodhi so as to present a picturesque view to the millions of devotees likely to converge here during the mega event in November this.

SULTANPUR LODHI (KAPURTHALA): Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala  DPS Kharbanda today said that the district administration would soon launch a mobile app to facilitate the pilgrims coming to the holy city of Sultanpur Lodhi during functions to mark 550th parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji.

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Government has decided to arrange free visit for students of the State to the Holy City of Sultanpur Lodhi on the 550th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji. After presiding over a meeting to review the arrangements for the 550th Parkash Purb celebrations here today, the Tourism & Cultural Affairs Minister Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi while disclosing this directed the Transport Department to make all necessary arrangements for the visit of students to the Holy City.

NEW DELHI: The Centre will initiate work on the infrastructure development of Sultanpur Lodhi as proposed by the Punjab Government at the earliest, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri assured Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Friday.
